Today has not been great… we’ve been working feverishly to get New Hampshire Farms ready for public launch. But today, a routine plug-in update (a plug-in is a bit of computer code you can add to a website) broke the hyperlinks on our farm profiles. Every profile was showing the same URL, instead of the correct one for that farm! Then, when using AI to try to fix that problem, more things broke. Finally we decided that the safest course of action was just to roll things back to yesterday. We take nightly backups, so this shouldn’t have been a problem. :cue dramatic horror movie music: Unfortunately… it turned out that the nightly backups weren’t actually working. We eventually had to roll the site back a full two weeks, which means that a LOT of work needs to be redone. This includes adding almost 30 farms back, updating 30 other farms, and rewriting several pages of content. This is terribly frustrating. But hey, lesson learned… now we don’t install any important plug-in updates without taking a full back-up first. Bear with us as we add all those farm profiles and updates back in so that you’ll have access to the most comprehensive and up-to-date directory of farms in New Hampshire!
uh, Houston, we have a problem…
